Marilés Bonet-Aracil is a Lecturer and Researcher at Universitat Politècnica de València. She is focused on Textile engineering teaching at bachelor, Master and PhD level.

She joined the university in 1999, previously she had worked for a technological center for research, called AITEX. Also, she has worked for a private textile company. Her research is focused on two main lines: a) the functionalization of textiles, mainly based on microcapsules; b) sustainability in textiles, mainly focused on natural dyes, revalorization of wastes for textile applications and microplastics minimization.

She has been involved in several funded projects for both educational innovations and, research with different publications and patents.
