AUTEX has been established almost 30 years ago and its continuous growth indicates its essential role in bringing together and networking the Universities with textile studies and research activities all over the world.

In parallel, AUTEX supports actively the textile research potential by the organization of the annual World Textile Conference and the publication of the AUTEX Research Journal.

AUTEX operates with full administrative and financial transparency and with respect to the democratic rules preserving the rights of its members.

We are open to welcome new member Universities enriching our network and bringing them in contact and cooperation with the rest member Universities for their benefit.
